Soft-packed BOP Rod Pump with Bottom Anchor Mechanical Type
Introduction
1) This pump is mainly applicable to wells with severe and paraffin deposit. When the bottom-hole flowing pressure is small, other BOP mechanical sealing surface is easily scaled, which will result in leakage of BOP because of bad setting.
2) For it features with soft-packed BOP structure, it is interference fit sealing. Its surface is not affected by scale, but it is not applicable to the steam injection wells with temperature above 150℃.
3) It’s applicable to conventional flowing well. There is no need killing wells during operation.
Structure Features and Working Principle
1) The pump mainly consists of bottom anchor mechanical type rod pump and soft-packed BOP assembly.
2) When pumping, sucker rod string goes down. The bottom mechanical type spring lock assembly and mechanical seating nipple setting from a seal. Meanwhile, the lower lock strainer pipe goes down, pushing the soft-packed assembly downwards out of oil channel, then the well begins normally pumping.
When blowout preventing, sucker rod string is lifted to drive rod pump upwards. Meanwhile, the bottom mechanical type spring lock strainer pipe drives soft-packed assembly up. And the soft-packed assembly blocks the oil channel and achieves blowout preventing.
